These days, proactive measures are called for to address environmental problems. Konica Minolta has been taking measures to address environmental concerns throughout the product lifecycle. This section highlights environmental technologies employed in development, manufacturing and end-use of products, and introduces the background to the development and mechanisms of these technologies.

By employing IH technology with a high heating efficiency in the fuser, we have succeeded in reducing the amount of power consumed by multifunction peripherals (MFPs) when they are in ready mode.

Konica Minolta's Simitri toner is produced using a method called polymerization. It is a next-generation toner which has reduced environmental impact during both the manufacturing process and use by customers.
