Konica Minolta Awarded with RobecoSAM Gold Class for the First Time

Tokyo (February 4, 2013) - Konica Minolta Holdings, Inc. (Konica Minolta) today announced that the company has been awarded with RobecoSAM Gold Class for the first time.

RobecoSAM Sustainability Award Gold Class 2013 RobecoSAM, based in Switzerland, is an investment specialist focused exclusively on Sustainability Investing. RobecoSAM invites over 3,000 of the world's largest companies to participate in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment. Results are analyzed in terms of economic, environmental and social issues with a focus on long-term value creation. Recently RobecoSAM has released its annual “Sustainability Yearbook 2013” in which 67 companies including Konica Minolta are awarded with Gold Class, 52 companies with Silver Class and 197 companies with Bronze Class. Three Japanese companies including Konica Minolta are awarded with Gold Class.
