3D Scanning Technician

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc., a leading company in the imaging industry and specializing in measurement has an excellent opportunity for a talented person to support our growing 3D scanning department at our Headquarters in Ramsey, New Jersey.

KMSA is looking for an achievement focused, self starter with a background in 3D scanning, reverse engineering and inspection. This is a key role within the organization and will report to the 3D scanning Business Unit Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform 3D scanning services based on customers’ needs including:
  • Operation of 3D scanners
  • Scan data processing
  • Reverse engineering
  • Part inspection
  • CAD modeling
• Travel to customer site as required to perform onsite scanning

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Two years work experience utilizing a 3D scanner
• Highly proficient utilizing Rapidform Software
• Proficient utilizing Solidworks
• Associates or Bachelor degree in CAD, manufacturing or engineering

ADDITIONAL DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Working knowledge of NX, ProE, Geomagic and Polyworks software
