JOB DESCRIPTION:

Business Unit Manager

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc. a leading company in the Imaging Industry Specializing in color and light instrumentation, has an excellent opportunity for a Business Unit Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Works independently and with Sales Representatives to drive revenue and self generates sales leads and follows up on same.
- Provides on site demonstrations of instruments and software at customers site to close sales.
- Provides product training and technical support for the customers and Distributors and Representatives.
- Support the incoming enquiries from the customers in a timely manner.
- Works various trade shows, regional sales meetings, national sales meetings.
- Forecasts monthly sales reports and activity reports as it relates to the strategic sales goals.

Requirements:

- Minimum of five years experience in sales
- Minimum of two years experience in 3D measurement technologies
- Able to travel 75% of time
- Working knowledge of CRM software and Office software

- Bachelor's degree and/or 3 to 5 years of technical sales experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communications skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Outlook.
- Willingness to travel 50 to 60%.
- Knowledge of color theory, light measurement, commercial lighting application, and latest display technologies needed.
- Experience working in the display design, development, manufacturing or repair a plus
- Experience in instrument sales such as color measuring instruments or other display related technologies a plus.
