JOB DESCRIPTION:

Tax Accountant

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc. a leading company in the Imaging Industry Specializing in color and light instrumentation, has an excellent opportunity for a Tax Accountant.

Responsibilities:

- Review tax compliance of both new & old accounts
- Research and advise Sales Admin regarding various state sales tax requirements
- Monitor/verify tax exemption status in SAP customer master
- Maintain sales tax exemption documents
- Follow up sales tax deductions resulting from customer payments
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/yearly sales & use tax returns
- Provide state auditors with sales data, returns record, GL reconciliation, etc.
- Assist state audits
- Assist Accounting Manager with ad-hoc projects as well as month-end and year-end audit
- Assist accounts receivable department with ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

- Minimum of three years in sales & use tax
- Associates Degree/Bachelor’s Degree
