Quality for professional applications

Digital toner designed for professional applications

Newly developed polymerized toner and conventional
pulverized toner.

Wax-incorporated oil-less adhesion gives a low-blemish finish. Small particle diameter and uniform shape ensure rich gradation and real reproducibility. Our newly-developed digital toner provides even greater image quality enhancement. Additionally, toner adhesion at low-melting point makes the system capable of handling a wide range of media such as coated paper.

High productivity

High Productivity

65ppm (A4 color & b/w)
The tandem color engine that features a vertical color development unit and image drum layout and the intermediate transcription unit enable 1-pass high-speed output of full-color images to give superb productivity of 65 sheets per minute.
4-color position matching is automatically carried out by the intermediate transcription unit to ensure instantaneous high-precision color registration.
Moreover, the robust print engine and components are capable of a maximum output of 300,000 sheets (A4)/month, providing support for the production printer's digital printing business.

Refill during printing

Installation of the toner-backup unit ensures a constant quantity of toner in the printer engine. Advanced warning of toner shortage is given and toner can be replenished during printing.
Also, paper can be refilled during printing with PF-602.

Mechanism for reliable paper feed

Air Assist function and dehumidifying unit in sheet feeder reduce paper transfer trouble such as double paper feed and paper waving.

Double paper feed detector

Double paper feed detector improves accuracy of paper feeding (PF-602)

Toughness & Reliability

Long Machine life

The machine life of LD-6501 has been extended to six million prints or 5 years from 5 million prints durability of previous system LD-6500.
It helps future business expansion.

Stability ensured by durable body structure

The system features a highly robust frame and a box type two level structured chassis to prevent warping of the main body. Enhanced rigidity of each of the components provides the system with the durability and stability ideal for a production printer.

Automatic inline color adjustment

Our newly-developed stabilized adjustment function controls color fluctuations occurring during continuous printing or after re-commencement of printing. The density pattern is created on the intermediate transfer belt and read by the optical sensor. The result is fed back to the laser power or dot formation and color fluctuations adjusted. Additionally, the CYMK print position is also adjusted on the intermediate transfer belt. Color discrepancies are instantly adjusted to provide high-precision registration.

Excellent front-to-back, page-to-page registration

Our newly-developed ADU (Automatic Duplex Unit) equipped with a wide range of image adjusting functions including paper-edge detection and slanted fold detection enables realization of outstanding front/back print position precision. Additionally, the ADU is furnished with a front/back magnification adjustment function to compensate for paper expansion and contraction. The magnification adjustment function uses a high-speed polygon mirror to enhance 2-side printing productivity.

New fixing system to minimize stress to the paper

Newly designed fixing system combined with the low melting point toner realizes long life of fixing unit, and the stable temperature expands the compatibility of coated paper.

Wide variety of paper handling

The main body tray handles paper thicknesses of 64-256g/m2. Moreover, the manual-insert tray and the optional high-capacity paper-feed are capable of supply of coated paper of a maximum thickness of 300g/m2. Additionally, all trays are capable of supply of the maximum paper size (330 x 487mm), enabling flexible paper handling.
