Instrument firmware update
Links for the following software are provided on this page. Please read the "Download procedure" and then download the software.
Download procedure
To download the desired software:
- Click on the link for the End User License Agreement for the desired software. (If there is no End User License Agreement link, click on the software title and go to step 3.)
- Read the End User License Agreement thoroughly. If you agree with this license, click [I Agree].
- Fill in the requested information in the Personal Information form that appears. Be careful that your email address is input correctly, since the download link will be sent to that email address.
- Click [Submit]. The personal information that you input will be shown for you to check.
- If the information is correct, click [Send].
- An email with the link to download the software you selected will be sent to the email address that you input in step 3. Click on the link in the email to download the software.
Firmware Version Ver. 1.31
Customers who have purchased any model of the Display Color Analyzer CA-410 Probe having firmware version lower than 1.31 can update the firmware of their instrument to version 1.31. The update procedure and changes from previous version can be viewed by clicking on the links at left.
NOTE: Customers who have purchased Display Color Analyzer CA-410 Probes having firmware version higher than 1.31 should not use this update. Please contact your nearest KONICA MINOLTA-authorized service facility regarding updating the firmware of such probes.

Firmware Version Ver. 1.02
Customers who have purchased the Display Color Analyzer Data Processor CA-DP40 can update the firmware of their instrument to the latest version. The update procedure and changes from previous version can be viewed by clicking on the links at left.
- This update software cannot be used for updating Display Color Analyzer CA-410 Probes.
Firmware Version Ver. 1.21
Customers who have purchased the Illuminance Spectrophotometer CL-500A can update the firmware of their instrument to Version 1.21. The update procedure and changes from previous version can be viewed by clicking on the links at left.
- This update software is only for updating the firmware of the Illuminance Spectrophotometer CL-500A.
Firmware Version 1.46
Customers who have purchased the Spectrodensitometer FD-7, FD-5, FD-5 BT, or FD-5 BT2 can update the firmware of their instrument to latest version. The update procedure and changes from previous version can be viewed by clicking on the links at left.
- This update software is only for updating the firmware of the Spectrodensitometer FD-7, FD-5, FD-5 BT, or FD-5 BT2.
Firmware Version 1.20
Customers who have purchased the Auto Scan Spectrophotometer FD-9 can update the firmware of their instrument to latest version. The update procedure and changes from previous version can be viewed by clicking on the links at left.
- This update software is only for updating the firmware of the Auto Scan Spectrophotometer FD-9.
CRI Illuminance Meter CL-70F Firmware Update
Firmware Version 12
Customers who have purchased the CRI Illuminance Meter CL-70F can update the firmware of their instrument to the latest version. The changes from previous version can be viewed by clicking on the link at left.
Upgrade procedure
The firmware of the CRI Illuminance Meter CL-70F can be updated by following the procedure in Section 7.6 "Update screen" on p. 35 of the Software Guide for "CL-70F Utility", the software included as a standard accessory with the CRI Illuminance Meter CL-70F. Please refer to that procedure to perform the update.
- Be sure to update the CL-SU1w Utility Software to the latest version before attempting to update the firmware. The update procedure is on the same page of the Software Guide for "CL-70F Utility".
- Updating of the CRI Illuminance Meter CL-70F can be performed only from within the CL-SU1w Utility Software. No update file is offered for download from this site.
