About Color and Appearance

The electric machinery industry is an industry where color meters are commonly used.
One of the applications is the management of exterior colors. In the past, as the term "white goods" indicates, the colors used for home appliances were limited. Since the emergence of colorful cellular phones, however, more and more products are manufactured in a variety of colors. * Metamerism is a phenomenon in which two colors appear to be the same color under one light source, but appear to be different colors under another light source.
