Following 2 problems may happen with Ver.1.50 on Windows 2000 | ||

| 1. | It is not possible to add supplementary data information to measurements. | ||
| 2. | It may not be possible to open files created in previous versions of SpectraMagic NX if such files contain supplementary data information. | ||
|
You can solve the above problems by updating your system to Microsoft Internet Exploror 6.0 or later. This bug was corrected by Ver.1.51. | ||
Connection
|
Is there anything to be careful of when using multiple CM-3600 series instruments with the same computer? |

When using SpectraMagic NX with multiple CM-3600 series instruments, when switching between instruments it is necessary to exit and restart the software to ensure proper operation and accurate measurement values. ・Disconnecting and connecting instruments from within SpectraMagic NX without exiting from the software is insufficient and may result in certain files not being properly updated, possibly causing improper operation or incorrect measurement values. ・To protect the instrument and the computer, it is strongly recommended that both the instrument and computer be switched off when connecting or disconnecting. |
Set Calibration Data

If "Load" button is clicked in the "Calibration Data" dialog, the white calibration data specified the file containing the data will be displayed on the dialog.If the OK button is clicked in the dialog, the message box which confirms overwrite of calibration data will be displayed, and if the OK button is clicked, the dialog will close. Although operation which seems to be right is carried out above apparently, while the white calibration data of instrument has been old, a new white calibration data is not set up. |

Initialize Instrument

In SpectraMagic NX, although first time installation of the unit driver is supported, the unit driver cannot be updated from the 2nd time. [Workaround] By copying a set of the unit driver file in the following folder (*), it can respond to renewal of the unit driver. (*) The target folder is in the "CM-S100w" folder. - The folder name is "CM3600" when the instrument is CM-3600d. - The folder name is "CM3630" when the instrument is CM-3630. |

List window
|
The SCE value of the K/S strength ( Apparent, Chromatic at Max. Absorption, Equal Apparent) of the data measured by SCI+SCE is wrong. As above-mentioned, bug is limited to the SCE value of SCI+SCE, and does not occur a condition except these. K/S strength (Chromatic at User Wavelength) shows exact value on all conditions. |

K/S strength may be displayed even if it is displaying absolute data on the List window. In absolute data, K/S strength must be displayed as "---." However, it will calculate based on the target data chosen immediately before, and K/S strength will be displayed. |

File Conversion
|
The WSV file created by SpectraMagic Ver.3.6 (series) may be inconvertible. The WSV file which set up the target taken out from the Database of Targets is inconvertible. |

SpectraMagic NX cannot be started if a Spanish version is installed in Windows NT4.0. |

If a Spanish version is installed in Windows 98, the menu and icon for choosing objects, such as graph, will not be displayed. |

Object

If the data (it measured by CM-2002 etc.) of the wavelength range from 400nm to 700nm is added after the data of the wavelength range from 360nm to 740nm adding, the wavelength range is compulsorily changed into 400 - 700nm from 360 - 740nm, and a distribution of former data is not displayed appropriately in Spectral Chart. The spectral data of each wavelength from 360nm to 660nm will be set to the wavelength range from 400nm to 700nm. [The case which is easy to occur] If the user who has used it in the combination of CM-2002 and SpectraMagic Ver.3.6 updates software to SpectraMagic NX, it will become easy to occur this problem. In SpectraMagic NX, the data of SpectraMagic Ver.3.6 is read as data of the wavelength range from 360nm to 740nm. If the data measured by SpectraMagic NX is added to the file, this problem will occur. |
