There are many different kinds of environmental destruction including global warming, deforestation, and air/ water pollution. Water pollution—when rivers, lakes, and the sea get dirty—happens when waste water from homes and factories is released into rivers without being treated or when agricultural chemicals find their way from the fields into the river. There are a lot of animals whose numbers have decreased due to polluted rivers and seas.
