Why are these animals' homes disappearing and being polluted?
- The temperature of the earth is rising. This is causing problems for some animals because the environment is changing.
- The rivers, lakes, ponds, and seas where animals live are being polluted by the garbage that people throw out.
- War hurts towns and people, but it also damages forests and the animals that live there.
- People continue to build on more land so there are now fewer places where animals can live.
- Animals are driven away when people cut down trees to use as timber or to make fields and roads.
