They mostly live in the Savannah in Africa. There are a few in Iran too.
Cheetahs use their ferocious speed to catch gazelles and impalas, rabbits and other small plant eaters.
Cheetahs are fast, but they can only run for a short time. When they run during a hunt, it's usually only for about 200 meters. They are sprinters.
They're fast, but not good fighters?
Cheetahs are the fastest animals on land. Once they start they can speed up quickly, and a few seconds later, they can go over 100kmph. They are good at running, but they aren't very strong in a fight. Sometimes they have their catches taken away by lions or hyenas.

Cheetahs need a wide open space to live in.
The plains that Cheetahs and Lions live on are becoming smaller and smaller. People are taking away the land. Because of this, cheetahs have to fight with lions and hyenas more and more. Cheetahs don't have much of a chance against other meat-eaters. Cheetahs' numbers are getting fewer since they have to fight with stronger animals for survival.
