Medical Imaging

This automated quality program combines a custom designed phantom with automatic evaluation software to provide an easy to use program for complete evaluation of Quality Acceptance and Quality Control testing on Konica Minolta CR Readers. Testing can be completed in very little time with only two exposures required for routine Quality Control Testing.
This software module features automated analysis of phantom image data and provides color coded pass/fail results with easy to export reports for record keeping and historical archiving. Reports are generated in Portable Document Format (.pdf) and Comma Separated Variable(.csv) file formats. The SimpleCheck QC program dramatically reduces the testing time and expertise typically required to execute a Digital Radiography Quality Control program.
Light weight all inclusive Quality Control Test Tool. Custom designed to harness the power of the SimpleCheck QC Software, this test phantom includes all necessary objects to perform Quality Testing under the Simple Check QC Program.
One Phantom can be used for multiple facilities and locations or additional phantoms are available to help cover geographical equipment placement within facility or Delivery Network.
Spatial Accuracy – Ensures no distortion to the clinical image size is being electro/mechanically introduced
Limiting Resolution – Modulation Transfer Function measurements of both main and subscan directions. MTF performance influences the ability to reproduce very fine detail
Low Contrast Resolution – Contrast To Noise performance measurements. CNR performance influences the ability to reproduce subtle differences in tissue contrast
Laser Jitter – Ensures Optical Unit performance by detecting any deviations during Laser Operation
Linearity – Ensure CR Reader has a linear response to incident energy within the exposure range
Detector Response – Verifies the exposure response of imaging plates relative to the QC cassette
Uniformity – Ensures that the CR Reader is free of non uniformities across the full imaging field
Erasure – Ensures that the system erase mechanism is clearing the imaging plates of any residual energy following a read cycle
Dark Noise – Ensures that the CR image is free of artificial signal
