On-Site Troubleshooting and Repair – The Blue Moon Tradition plan provides the customer peace of mind by covering the first two visits for problems that require an engineer on site. Additional on-site visits are available at an hourly rate.

Parts Insurance – The Blue Moon Tradition plan also protects the customer against unexpected significant parts expenses.The customer is responsible for the first $2500 in parts and Konica Minolta covers the rest. This is a valuable “parachute” that offers another level of peace of mind.

No Fault Cassette & Plate Repair with Co-Pay1 – Blue Moon is the first post-warranty product line in the industry to offer a cassette and plate repair benefit. The cassette and imaging plate are vital components to your CR system. With repetitive use, they are subject to more wear and tear than any other part of the system. With the “no fault” terms of this feature, the customer can have cassettes and plates repaired regardless of the cause of damage (see terms and conditions for limitations). The customer is only required to pay for shipping plus a $150 “co-pay” per cassette/plate — a potential savings of up to $900 per cassette/plate repair!

Software Upgrades – In order to keep up with your evolving needs, Blue Moon Select now includes software upgrades! This benefit provides the customer with the latest and greatest software version, granting new features, functionality, and capabilities. Does not include hardware.

Elite — Benefits Defined

Rollover Cassette & Plate Program2 – Blue Moon Elite plan provides the awesome benefit of cassette and plate “rollover.” When Elite customers’ cassettes hit the four year mark, they can turn them in for new ones. This is a huge benefit that leaves the customer, after four years of solid use, with a well-oiled system AND brand new cassettes and plates. System must have been enrolled in Elite for at least three years.

Disaster Response Program — Free CR Loaner – The Blue Moon Elite plan also provides a life-saving CR loaner benefit that enables a customer to be up and running while responding to the after effects of a disaster. The loan is for up to three months and can be used to augment services while any disaster damaged equipment is repaired or replaced.

Super User Training Program3 – The Blue Moon Elite plan also includes a super user training component. The 20 CEU Super User course will help your professional technologists develop your staff’s CR imaging skills and increase understanding of image quality control factors. Some of the topics covered are: the physics of CR, CR versus film/screen, factors influencing CR image quality, x-ray factors and their influence on CR images, post processing and display criteria, and more.

3. Super User Training Program

• Each reader receives one point for each year covered under Blue Moon Elite; every 4 points will entitle one technologist to participate in a super user training course held at Konica Minolta Medical Imaging in Wayne, NJ. Example: two systems signed for three years each generates at total of 6 points. This entitled the customer to a tuition waiver for one student completely and one at 50% off. Customer pays for travel and expenses.

Aero DR Auto-Stitching System

Introducing a unique auto-stitching system with the Aero DR flat panel detector for high image quality and excellent workflow that is applicable to any X-ray system. In general, existing DR stitching process requires the patient to remain still for extended periods of time. However, using the Aero DR Auto-Stitching System allows studies to be performed in much less time due to the automatic movement of the detector and specialized slit combination.

High Image Quality and Lower Doses

The optimal combination of the Aero DR detector, using a Konica Minolta Csi scinillator, combined with the newly developed low noise readout circuitry delivers excellent DQE (Detective Quantum Efficiency). This makes the Aero DR effective in reducing exposure dose.

Shared FPD solution

The Aero DR flat panel detector can be shared for not only cassette wireless digital radiography but also our unique auto-stitching system.

Easy Setting the Entire Exposure Range

A moving slit scans light exposure field and detects the upper and lower edge of the field, then the system automatically determines the number of exposures and each position in just 5 seconds which is much shorter than alternative DR stitching systems. This unique slit can dramatically reduce the time it takes to complete stitching exams and significantly improve the technologist’s workflow.

Stitching process of Aero DR Auto-Stitching System

During auto-stitching process, alignment of the panel and the X-ray beam via the specialized Aero DR slit mechanism is automatically performed for each study. The X-ray tube remains stationary throughout the entire study and acquired images are automatically transferred to the CS-7 console as they are acquired. After exposure is complete, an auto-stitched image appears on the display of the CS-7 console in just 18 seconds or less.

MODEL 210 has a side panel for the cleaning / maintenance of the optical unit. Simply open the panel and pull out the cleaning knob for easy cleaning of the optical unit. Fine dust accumulated on the optical unit can be easily removed.

Two selectable options for cassette registration.

Cassette registration mode can be selected from two options, registration at imaging (barcode registration) and registration at reading (screen menu selection), according to the line of movements and system layout. This enables more flexible operation.Two types of bar code readers are available; single-type (above in photo) or multi-type.

Digital Image Stitching Software Application

Used in orthopedics for studies involving scoliosis and long length bone work, the Digital Image Stitching Application electronically combines three 14" x 14" or 14" x 17" images into one continual image. This image can then be exported to a PACS for subsequent measurement and diagnosis.

1. Cassette loading / unloading
   PCM 35×43cm cassettes are loaded and unloaded through an opening in the body shield.
2. Removing the body shield
   Remove the body shield by pulling it forward
3. Storing the cassette holder
   Lift up the cassette holder to stow it in the device
4. Replacing the imaging unit
   Loosen the lock lever behind the Carm, pull out the imaging unit support table, and attach the Contact imaging bucky table.
5. Attaching the irradiation field limiting plate
   Replace with the irradiation field limiting plate for life-size imaging.

System Flow

Fully compatible with four sizes and the world's smallest design*

The unit comes in less imposing compact body with 1150 mm in height and commands only 0.35m² for an installation area while providing five sizes of printing film raging from 14"×17" to 8"×10". Since it supports the main film sizes, it is possible to run a life-size printing operation. Also, it can support additional supply units of up to 3 trays. Film size can be selected depending on the purpose.

Full Options For Various Purposes

The standard film supply uses two trays but up tp three trays can be optionally mounted. An additional optional film supply tray for the DRYPRO 873 (four sizes from 14×17" to 8×10") is available. Any combination is possible depending on your requirements. The optional 6-channel sorter is also available, which is useful for sorting by modality after printing.

DRYPRO 793 is furnished with a Web maintenance function that allows the user to use a PC on the same network to access such information as the device status and print progress via the web browser. Unit System Printlink III Series Accommodate Imager Network Environment

The Printlink III – IV print management system can convert a video image signal output from modalities to image data that compiles with worldwide standard DICOM 3.0 (Print Management Service Class).
Up to eight units of DICOM-compatible imagers can be connected to one Printlink III unit as output destinations, making back-up system setup simple. With the auto character recongnition fuction (optionally available), patient data such as name, ID. etc. can be added to image data from each modality that does not support DICOM, and transferred to DICOM servers and viewers in DICOM 3.0 (Storage Service Class) form.

The SD-P line of dry laser films are specifically designed for the DRYPRO 700* laser series. The film is thermally processed and does not require wet processing chemistry. The SD-P is blue base, available in 14×17, 11×14, 10×12 & 8×10 sizes and the SD-PC is clear base imaging film, available in 14×17 size only. SD-PM is designed for mammography applications in the DRYPRO 793 laser imager only, available in 10×12 & 8×10 only. (*Includes: DRYPRO 722, 751, 752, 771, 793 Laser Imagers.)

SD-Q / SD-QM

The SD-Q line of dry laser films are specifically designed for the DRYPRO 800* laser series. The film is thermally processed and does not require wet processing chemistry. The SD-Q is blue base, available in 14×17, 11×14, 10×12 & 8×10 sizes. SD-QM is designed for mammography applications in the DRYPRO 873 laser imager only, available in 10×12 & 8×10 only. (*Includes: DRYPRO 832 & 873 Laser Imagers.)

SD-P / SD-Q Film Lines – Sharp, clear images are assured by optimized control of image tones from CT, MRI and other image modalities. Anti-halation technology increases image sharpness. All DRYPRO films deliver excellent diagnostic clarity in the processed image. All DRYPRO SD-P & SD-Q series film is daylight packaged in 125 sheet boxes, four boxes to a case.

Storing and handling unused film
After confirming that film is packaged, store unused film, like ordinary film, in a cool, dark place (recommended temperature:10-23℃(50-73°F)) where it will not be affected by radiation. If film is stored in a place where temperature is more than 30℃（86°F）for a long period of time, the quality of the film may change. When storing film in a film storage bin, it should be stored in a place where temperature is not likely to rise.

1. As heat-processed-type film is susceptible to high temperature or strong sunlight even after it’s processed, it should be stored in a cool, dark place. When storing film for a long period of time, be sure to place it in a film bag and store it in a place where temperature is 25℃(77°F) or below. The rise in density or discoloration may occur more frequently as the temperature rises.
2. If the film is stored at a temperature of 40℃（104°F）or higher, this may cause density changes or discoloration even over a short period of time. Avoid leaving the film in a car in daytime, or using it with a hot lamp etc.
3. As the film is susceptible to strong sunlight as well as temperature, avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, or leaving it on a viewing screen for a long time,

Dry film should not be cleaned with alcohol or cleaning agent that may cause density blotching and other defects. The film is resistant to water, so it may be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with water.

MG-SR PLUS

MG-SR Plus is a standard contrast film for general radiography. MG-SR Plus is intended primarily for chest, abdomen plain and gastrointestinal use. Its wide latitude enables coverage of low-density through high-density areas with outstanding balance between sharpness and granularity. New SR technology enables remarkable processing stability, for consistent stable imaging under recommended processing conditions with no sacrifice in image quality or film sensitivity. Excellent transport and anti-static characteristics guarantee reliable film transport with all types of chemical processing equipment.

MG-SR-Plus film replaces MG-SR, MGX-SR, MGL-SR, MGT-SR, MGV-SR films in the conventional film line up. It is recommended that each facility test the MG-SR PLUS film with the current exposure and process parameters. Minimal changes to either exposure and/or processing may be required to achieve preferred facility results.

New CM-H2 film is designed to provide excellent imaging quality while demonstrating processing-friendly quality control characteristics. The peak contrast and latitude of New CM-H2 enables high quality results and fulfills MQSA film-screen requirements in any orthochromatic mammography screen. The
CM-H2 Mammography Cassette, MD-100 and MM-150 mammography intensifying screens further enhance and complete the system.

SR-IC PLUS Video Film

Konica Minolta SR-IC PLUS is an orthochromatic medical imaging film designed with excellent contrast, gradation and sharp detail with minimal base fog due to the fine grain emulsion on one side and the anti-halation layer on the other. This film is designed for the specific use of video imaging from MRI, CT, Ultra sound, nuclear imaging and thermography.

SR-IC Plus replaces Type “C” film in the conventional film product line up. It is available in 8×10 size only.

SR-Dup PLUS Duplicating Film

Konica Minolta SR-Dup PLUS is specifically designed to produce uniform linearity in density reproduction. In fact, duplicated copies are so authentic it may be difficult to tell the original from the reproduction. SR-Dup PLUS Film features a non-glare matte finish on both sides and is compatible with UV light sources (BLB Type). SP-Dup PLUS produces a maximum density of 3.0, making this the ideal product for reproduction of both conventional x-ray photographs and clinical images from MRI, CT and other sources.

SR-Dup PLUS replaces SR-Dup film in the conventional film product line up. It is available in 14×17 and 10×12 sizes only.

Dry Laser Film For The DRYPRO 832

Konica Minolta’s Silver Dry Process films are designed specially for use with the DRYPRO 832. Halation prevention technology uses new materials for sharper, clearer images with high maximum density and optimized contrast characteristics. A new complex micro emulsion consisting of photosensitive silver halide and photosensitive organic silver achieves ideal dry processing. Konica Minolta’s dry laser films are available in tinted (SD-Q) and clear base (SD-QC). The film is daylight-packaged and comes 125 sheets per box.

The 17"x17" FPD Provides Increased Image Area

There is no need to rotate the panel from portrait to landscape and vice versa in the bucky tray depending on a patient’s size when performing chest or abdominal x-ray procedures. The larger image area allows more anatomy to be imaged, thereby reducing positioning errors.

Shared FPD Solution

Like the 14” x 17”, the 17” x 17” panel is cassette sized and fits into the existing bucky tray or cassette holder. The panel can be carried around and shared among X-ray rooms.
