An additional function of digital planetarium to the full dome system “DigitalSky” is now available, DigitalSky2 is the system of digital planetarium corresponding to large-medium size dome.
A new addition of 3D digital planetarium to the DigitalSky that projects powerful full dome imaging is available. Using multipul projectors it reproduces the dynamic CG projection image and 3D outer space on an entire dome screen.
Function of 3D digital planetarium.
DigitalSky2 builds outer space in 3D model, and has 3D planetarium function that can set up observing point freely. As the information of individual motions are included in the data of 100,000 fixed stars, the starry sky in the remote past and future Can be reproduced exactly.
Also, 3D space map “Digital Universe” that has been produced by The American Museum of Natural History(AMNH) with collaboration of NASA is built-in as plug-in, and it can reproduce the faraway universe with entire freedom.

Multi-Window Function
DigitalSky2 has Multi-Window function that project a digital data of still and motion pictures in any size and place freely on dome screen.
The simulation of celestial figure at a certain zoom ratio can be done, and it can also freely project the images of digital materials for general purpose and picture taken by digital camera.
