Planetarium

New generation of planetarium with the latest technology condensed in the compact body is now available.
It reproduces the realistic starry-sky with which audience feel temptation of observing the show forever, pursuing beauty and reality and high performance of learning astronomy.
| Type of Dome | Horizontal / tilted |
|---|---|
| Dome size | 12~20m |
| Number of seats | 90~200 seats |
| Number of Stars | 12,800 (magnitude 6.8)~15,000 (magnitude 7.0), Approx. 250,000 in Milky Way area. |

Introducing the projection method of light through the optical fiber with lens, and metal halid lamp of high color temperature. It can project natural-like and realistic starry sky, reproducing in high fidelity the difference of brightness for fixed stars and particular color tone of them . Also, in spite of a compact star-boll (approx, 70cm in diameter), it made substarially increasing number of Bright Star possible.
Audience can realistically feel the depth of starry sky, particularly, Milky Way reproduced, approx 250,000pcs, as a group of each star based on exact positioning data.
Regardless of generation, juvenile or senior, it can easily be operated adopting easier handling type of panel layout even in the dim lighting, and bigger size of lettering as well as pictograph.
Also, operation method has remarkably been up-graded, adopting GUI (Graphical User Interface) newly designed for Windows.
INFINIUM S can instantly be operated necessarily for additional and indispensable operation while it is being on manual operation, e.g. to project starry sky of the day, to move on to the spot on a map by clicking a mouse, to choose the name of a constellation for Meridian transit and so on. Also, manual operation can be intruded into automatic operation while it is being on.
Moreover, it is equipped with the semi-automatic function to proceed a short program prepared beforehand by selecting it only, reflecting reaction of the audience. An interactive simulation or performance can be realized supporting the operator' s will with excellent operation method for both automatic and manual. Operator can also be away from the console with the assistance of Remote Control System(optional item).
Operation of all peripheral equipments can be done from console by the network control. Needless to say, while it is automatically or semi–automatically operated, the digital all-sky-projection system and audio system can be controlled with perfect freedom.
Konica Minolta always pay attention to their customer for reliability, durability and maintenance of the equipments, parts and showware in all aspects, to be usable for long time after installation of them.
