What is Brightness?
Answer
Brightness is the reflecting properties of a material such as a sheet of paper or a piece to textile. It is a physical and measurable phenomenon. Some mistakenly equate "whiteness" with brightness, but whiteness is a physiological phenomenon, measured subjectively by the impression and perception of the human eye.
