Konica Minolta's Executives Visit Production Sites ahead of "Safety Day"

Tokyo (July 25, 2025) – Konica Minolta, Inc. (Konica Minolta) announced that a total of 24 executives made a visit to 12 production sites in Japan on July 4, ahead of the Konica Minolta group's “Safety Day”.

July 6 has been designated as the Konica Minolta Group's Safety Day to think together about safety in order to prevent disasters and accidents in corporate activities, taking lessons from the factory accident that occurred within the Group in 2021.

During this visit, in addition to discussing safety initiatives, the executives experienced hands-on safety work, shared issues and concerns, and exchanged opinions with the team.

All sites held a "Safety Awards" ceremony to recognize the steady, daily efforts in safety activities.

Konica Minolta actively promotes risk assessments* of facilities and operations related to its machinery, chemical substances at each of its businesses and affiliated companies in order to minimize accidents. In addition, Konica Minolta is disseminating information on safety risks in everyday life to all employees by implementing e-learning and communicating case studies as an alert.

The Company keeps working to establish awareness of “safety as top priority” as part of its corporate culture and will continue its efforts to accurately identify disaster risks, and prevent and mitigate disasters.
