What we can all do

Say "bye bye" to needless wasting!

Tell us, Prof. Konica Minolta! Why should we stop needless wasting?

To reduce our impact on the planet
You can probably imagine the damage that wasting paper has on the forests where our animal friends live, right? No matter what it is, that we are producing or transporting will always have some degree of bad effect on our planet! So, let's be careful, and try as much as we can to not needlessly waste things.

What all of us can do

Make sure you're not wasting everyday items

Before you start writing or drawing on a new piece of paper, check to see if there is a scrap sheet you can use. You can reduce the amount of tissue and packaging you use. It seems like a lot of people use too much shampoo and toothpaste, too!

Avoid disposable products

When you're shopping, say "no!" to wasteful packaging and bags. Instead of PET bottles, try bringing your own refillable bottle, and instead of paper cups bring your own cup! There are also school supplies like refillable ink pens that you can use instead of disposable products.

Don't waste food

The need for large pastures and farm space is just one of the many reasons why our forests are shrinking. It's smart to buy only as much food as you need! And if you want to be considerate about saving energy, it's best to buy food that is made locally!

Consider this idea!

We're doing our part too! Konica Minolta's plan

Shape up our packaging!

The materials that are used to wrap products to keep them safe during transport are called packaging materials. At Konica Minolta, we are rethinking our packaging materials to be more considerate to the environment. We have been able to greatly reduce the amount of materials we need to package our products while maintaining the same level of protection.
