Ms. Guély is a designer and art director who creates displays for top fashion brands and boutiques in France and elsewhere. She works with paper of a variety of textures and colors, breathing life into it as she transforms it into something beautiful and delicate.
At Shiseido The Ginza, Mrs. Guély's special exhibit heralded the coming of spring with artwork meant to evoke "the spirit of the cherry blossoms."
This collaboration was possible because OLEDs, which shine from a surface and are thin and light like paper, are the perfect material to use in combination with paper artwork. The latest OLEDs, like paper that glows, add to the beauty of traditional Japanese paper.
