Masatoshi Matsuzaki has been Chairman of the Board of KONICA MINOLTA, INC. since April 2014. He joined Konishiroku Photo Industry Co., Ltd. in 1976 and engaged mainly in product development and planning of printers and MFP’s. After the integration of Konica and Minolta in 2003, he held several leadership executive positions responsible for R&D and technology strategy. He served as President and CEO of KONICA MINOLTA INC. from April 2009 to March 2014.
He is also Outside Director of public companies in Japan, such as Ichigo Inc., Nomura Research Institute, Ltd., and LIXIL Corporation, and is also Vice Chairman of the Japan Association of Corporate Directors.
He has also been invited to give many lectures on corporate management, technology management, leadership, and corporate governance.
Shoei Yamana

Shoei Yamana joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1977. After working on the development of markets in emerging countries, international sales while staying in the U.K., and company-wide management planning, he served as CEO of an American printer company acquired by Minolta. Upon returning to Japan, he was appointed Executive Officer, Minolta Co., Ltd., and doubled as General Manager, Management Planning Division, and Deputy General Manager, Business Technologies Business Headquarters. He played an important role in the integration of Konica and Minolta.
After the integration, he served as Senior Executive Officer in charge of corporate strategy. He was appointed Director and Senior Executive Officer responsible for business technologies in 2006, Director and Senior Vice president and Executive Officer for the same business in 2013, and President and CEO, Representative Executive Officer in April 2014, a position he has since held.
Demonstrating strong leadership, President Yamana has been striving to transform Konica Minolta into a digital company with insight into implicit challenges, a company that anticipates latent issues of customers and helps solve them together with customers, thus contributing to the business community and society at large. He is a much sought-after speaker for lectures on digital business.
Toyotsugu Itoh

Toyotsugu Itoh joined Konishiroku Photo Industry Co., Ltd., which later became Konica Corporation, in 1979, where he was involved in the development of photographic film production technologies and R&D of key device production technologies.
After the integration of Konica and Minolta in 2003, he was involved in establishing a production subsidiary in China and managing a production subsidiary of the Konica Minolta Group. After taking up various managerial positions, including General Manager of the Monodzukuri Engineering Center (Manufacturing Technology Center), in 2013, he was promoted to Executive Officer and General Manager, Corporate Production Operations, where he was in charge of strengthening production technologies company-wide and promoting production strategies. He was appointed Senior Executive Officer in 2015, and Senior Executive Officer Responsible for Management Quality Improvement in 2017, where he was tasked with carrying out management quality reforms and other measures to improve internal control. In 2018 he became Director of Konica Minolta, Inc. and has since been responsible for supervising corporate management.
He has authored several books, including Cho-seimitsukako no Essence (Essence of Ultra-high-Precision Technologies) and Jissai no Sekkei (Actual Design) (co-author). He is also an active member of an external network of study groups.
Hiroyuki Suzuki

Hiroyuki Suzuki joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., in 1979 which later became Minolta Co., Ltd. After gaining experience in personnel management as well as management of group companies, he was involved in the management of a new business at a subsidiary as a director.
After the integration of Konica and Minolta in 2003, he played a leading role in building an MFP direct-sales system and promoting MFP sales in China. Starting from 2006, he supported auditing activities as the audit committee secretariat. In 2009, he was appointed General Manager, Corporate Audit Division, where he has been responsible for internal auditing for 10 years. In 2012, he became Executive Officer, and in June 2019, took up the post of Director upon resigning as Executive Officer. He has since been in charge of supervising corporate management as an Internal Director, not doubling as Executive Officer.
Especially, as a member of the audit committee he has been responsible for auditing how the internal control system is built and used in the company and how Executive Officers are fulfilling their managerial duties, leveraging the expertise in corporate governance and internal control gained from his experience in management and auditing activities.
Seiji Hatano

Seiji Hatano joined The Mitsubishi Bank, Ltd., which later became MUFG Bank, Ltd., in 1982, where he gained experience in general global corporate financing services for major companies, including general trading companies, heavy industry companies, automobile manufacturers, electronics manufacturers, and sea and land transportation companies, while engaging in M&A, project financing, and treasury management.
While working in New York and Singapore, he took charge of transactions with Japanese companies and major local companies and international business management, and, while responsible for examining companies, he was involved in several large-scale corporate restructuring projects.
After joining Konica Minolta in 2011, he took charge of the company’s growth strategy. He was appointed Executive Officer and General Manager, Corporate Strategy Division in 2013, and as Director and Senior Executive Officer responsible for CSR, publicity, and branding, in addition to corporate strategy, in 2014. In 2016, he was also put in charge of risk management as General Manager, Corporate Planning Division. Since 2018, he has been in charge of accounting and financing operations as well.
Leveraging the human network built while engaging in banking services and transactions with major companies, and applying cutting-edge expertise, he is currently in charge of affairs relating to finance, accounting, taxes, and business management to support Konica Minolta in transforming its business model and help the company maintain sustainable growth and enhance its corporate value on a medium- to long-term basis.

Toshimitsu Taiko joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1986. After taking charge of legal affairs in Japan and the U.S., and then sales of printers, he took charge of marketing and business planning at a printer sales company.
Since the integration of Konica and Minolta, he has served as an officer responsible for strategic business planning for business technologies, and as CEO of a sales company in the U.S. He was appointed Executive Officer in 2015, and returned to Japan in 2016. After holding managerial positions including General Manager, Business Planning Headquarters, and General Manager, Professional Printing Business Headquarters for Business Technologies, he was also appointed Director in 2018. Leveraging his 14 years of experience working abroad, mainly in the U.S. and Europe, and the ability to think rationally gained from such experience, he is working to increase earnings from the company’s mainstream business operations - office business and production printing business – while introducing digital technologies in his capacity as a lead officer responsible for business technologies. He is also striving to deliver new value to customers in new growth fields, such as industrial printing, marketing services, and the digital workplace, as part of the effort to put into practice the vision of a digital company with insight into implicit challenges.
He was appointed Senior Vice President and Executive Officer in 2020, and has since been responsible for corporate planning, investor relations and corporate communication, in addition to business technologies.

Masafumi Uchida joined Konishiroku Photo Industry Co., Ltd., which later became Konica Corporation, in 1983. After engaging in R&D of toner for copiers, he was transferred to the toner manufacturer, Konica Supplies Manufacturing, Co., Ltd., present-day Konica Minolta Supplies Manufacturing Co., Ltd., where he gained practical experience.
After the integration of Konica and Minolta, he served as General Manager, Production Technology Headquarters; Deputy Senior General Manager, Manufacturing Headquarters; General Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility Division. He was appointed Executive Officer and General Manager, Corporate Environmental and Quality Management Division in 2016 and promoted management focusing on SDGs.
He became Senior Executive Officer in 2018. Since 2019, as Chief Technical Officer, he is striving to create digital innovations and to internationalize the company’s R&D activities.

Fujii leads Konica Minolta’s global healthcare business which focuses on Precision Medicine and Medical Diagnostics. After joining Konica Minolta in 2016 Fujii led the acquisitions of two major U.S. biotechnology companies, Ambry Genetics and Invicro, and currently assumes the position of chairman of both companies.
Fujii has a wide-ranging business career from medical services, information technology, consumer products to investment banking. Fujii has held Japan CEO positions with top global companies since 1997, including SAP, Louis Vuitton, Cadence Design Systems and Quintiles Transnational. From 2012 to 2015 he served Olympus as the first independent board member to re-build its governance and businesses.
From 1985 to 1993 Fujii held the role as the first Japanese M&A investment banker in New York with Credit Suisse First Boston and Goldman Sachs. Fujii started out his career with McKinsey as the first hire from the University of Tokyo.
Fujii received an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1986 and a B.A. in Law from the University of Tokyo in 1981.
Shinichiro Oka

Shinichiro Oka started his professional career at Toshiba Corporation in 1991. He was in charge of human resources at the plants and headquarters of the Medical Equipment and Home Appliance Business Divisions. He then served as human resources director at United Technologies, IBM Corporation, and Coca-Cola (Japan) Co., Ltd. in a number of critical positions, including head of Asia-Pacific regional human resources management, JV realignment project leader and global executive development leader.
Prior to joining Konica Minolta, as Executive Officer and Global CHRO of Macromill, Inc., he introduced new HR programs and policies to support the sustainable growth of its marketing research business at the global market. Focusing on acquisition and development of talents with strong leadership capability, he successfully led the company’s re-listing on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2017.
Oka joined Konica Minolta in June 2020 as Executive Officer. Responsible for human resources, he has been working to acquire and develop global talents who will drive Konica Minolta's business model transformation, while leading its organizational transformation initiatives with his hands-on involvement inside the businesses.

コニカとミノルタの経営統合後は、医療・印刷事業の開発センター長を経て、2012年執行役 技術戦略部長に就任。2014年には常務執行役 開発統括本部長に就任し、MOT(技術経営)を推進する。2015年からは取締役 兼 常務執行役 事業開発本部長として、産業用光学システム事業、バイオ診断システム事業、新デジタル印刷システム事業などの新規事業開発を行い、これら新規事業に関連する海外企業の大型買収を複数手掛け、現在も全社技術担当(CTO)としてイノベーション創出に意欲的に取り組む。
社外では、先端素材高速開発技術研究組合(ADMAT)の理事長や、日本オプトメカトロニクス協会の副会長を務めるなど、技術開発での産官学活動の推進に尽力する。 イノベーション創出、デジタルトランスフォーメーションなどに関する外部講演多数。
Noriyasu Kuzuhara

Noriyasu Kuzuhara joined Konica Corporation in 1990, where he was involved in new business development projects, such as the development of cancer diagnostic agents utilizing immune response and electrolyzed water sanitizing systems. He then engaged in the development of LCD films, another new business. In 2003, he succeeded in developing the world’s first TAC retardation film for VA-LCDs (VA-TAC), which greatly helped the company expand in this field, and in recognition of this achievement, he was awarded the Excellence Prize in the 3rd Monozukuri Nippon Grand Award in 2009.
He was appointed General Manager, R&D Department, Performance Materials Headquarters, in 2009, General Manager, Performance Materials Business Unit, Advanced Layers Company in 2014, Executive Officer in 2015, and Senior Executive Officer in 2016.

Yuji Ichimura joined Konica Minolta in 2012 after engaging in sales, planning, business development and start-up investment at a major global IT company, and focused on M&A and business process transformation to reinforce IT service operations and supervise new business development company-wide.
He was appointed Executive Officer in 2015 and Senior Executive Officer in 2018. Utilizing digital technology and extensive data, he is currently responsible for the supervision and management of digital transformation processes under way in the Konica Minolta Group globally, aiming to reform business processes, improve efficiency, and change work-styles.

Ikuo Nakagawa joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1982. He has much experience in global business, staying in Hong Kong and China for 7.5 years, in the U.S. for 15 years and in Europe for 4 years.
In 2001, he took up the post of vice president of a North American headquarter in the U.S. and in 2003, played a leading role in the integration of the sales companies of Konica and Minolta in the U.S. After the integration, he served as Chairman and CEO of a listed company in the U.S. acquired by Konica Minolta and as president of a sales company in China, and in 2014, he was appointed Executive Officer of Konica Minolta and president of an European headquarter in Germany. During these years, he demonstrated strong leadership skills in executing M&A to enhance IT services, and post-merger integration of business and IT, as well as sales, marketing, and corporate planning in the areas for which he was responsible. In 2018, he returned to Japan as Senior Executive Officer.
Leveraging his experience in global business, he is currently responsible for digital workplace business, a new business for Konica Minolta, while providing supervision and management over the global IT organization across the Konica Minolta Group and promotion of Digital Transformation (DX) branding on a global basis.

Kazuyoshi Hata joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1981. After being involved in designing optical lenses for industrial use and developing optical software, he moved to a Management planning division where he was in charge of establishing a joint venture for sales of copiers to fully prepare for expansion into the Chinese market, and a joint venture for developing color printers in Japan. In 2003, he played a leading role in the integration of Konica and Minolta as General Manager, Management Planning Division.
After the integration, he worked for the Corporate Strategy Division and, after serving as Manager, Business Planning Department, Camera Division, he was appointed Executive Officer and General Manager, Corporate Strategy Division in 2009. In 2014, he became President of Healthcare Company and played a leading role in promoting the healthcare business, following which he took charge of the alliance and optical component business. Since 2018, he has served as Senior Executive Officer and General Manager, Corporate Planning Division, and also as Kansai Regional Director.
He is experienced in formulating company-wide strategies and working in a wide range of fields, such as optical products, copiers, printers, cameras and healthcare, and through such experience, he has developed an understanding of the perspectives of both top management and frontline workers, which has helped him formulate and carry out highly practical strategies.
Kazumi Atago

Kazumi Atago joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1984, where she engaged in international legal affairs, such as handling the investigation into the alleged dumping of photocopiers initiated in Europe and patent litigation in the U.S. She played an active role in legal affairs arising from the events that would lead to the expansion and reorganization of the company, such as the acquisition of a listed company in the U.S. in 1999 and the integration of Konica and Minolta in 2003.
After the integration, she was made responsible for corporate legal affairs, while taking charge of various projects such as compliance promotion, crisis management, and workstyle reform, resulting from the office relocation. She was appointed General Manager of the Legal & General Affairs Division in 2013. Since 2016, she has been supporting top management as General Manager of the Secretarial Division, while helping to improve corporate governance by leveraging her experience in the legal field.
In April 2018, she became the first female Executive Officer of Konica Minolta, a position she has since held in addition to Company Secretary.
In her capacity as Company Secretary, a position that is modeled after those in European countries and the U.S. and that few Japanese companies have introduced, she serves as a liaison between the Board of Directors and Executive Officers, working diligently to put into practice Konica Minolta’s vision of corporate governance and accelerate the company’s evolution.
Takaji Ito

Takaji Ito joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1984, where he was engaged in office equipment production engineering. From 1991, he was involved in the establishment of a factory in France and the integration of European factories. In 2000, he was assigned to a production control company in Hong Kong where he accelerated the manufacturing cost reduction efforts by expanding parts procurement channels within China.
After the integration of Konica and Minolta, he was appointed president of a newly established subsidiary in China which was responsible for the entire process of parts procurement, including physical and commercial distribution of parts.
Upon returning to Japan in 2007, as a leader of office equipment production planning and management operations, he made significant contributions to optimizing the balance between in-house production and outsourced production worldwide. In 2012, he was put in charge of promoting business process transformation and improving management quality across the entire Konica Minolta Group, playing a leading role in increasing the work efficiency.
In 2017, he was appointed Executive Officer and General Manager of the Corporate Planning Division.
He became Deputy General Manager of the Manufacturing and Procurement Headquarters in 2020 and has since been responsible for supervising digital manufacturing departments, leveraging his experience of business process transformation and corporate planning. He aims to reform and strengthen the manufacturing process while reducing costs.
Toshiya Eguchi

Toshiya Eguchi joined Konica Corporation in 1989, where he engaged in the development of system LSIs for photo printing equipment and office equipment such as facsimiles and printers, and the system design of digital cameras and medical equipment.
After the integration of Konica and Minolta, in 2010 he was appointed Senior Manager of the Architecture Development Division of the System Solution Technology R&D Laboratories, responsible for developing the system architecture of digital MFPs, and then General Manager of the System Technology Development Center in charge of technical development for new business areas. He has been Executive Officer and General Manager of IoT Service Platform Development Operations since 2017.
He is currently leading the corporate strategy to create Konica Minolta-style IoT business, leveraging its R&D assets that combines system development of cloud and edge devices and AI technologies such as image recognition, deep learning and data analytics.
To facilitate the transformation of Konica Minolta into a digital company, he has long been playing a leadership role in developing innovative human resources and ICT engineers within the company, thereby contributing largely to nurturing ICT specialists through the in-house training program focused on selected members.
Keiji Okamoto

Keiji Okamoto joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1986, where he constantly engaged in the sales of office equipment, such as copiers, MFPs and printers, in Japan and abroad. In addition, he gained experience in various jobs in addition to sales while working for sales companies in the U.S. and Europe.
After the integration of Konica and Minolta, he served as General Manager of Office Product Sales in the company’s Business Technologies business, and then as Executive vice president of a U.S. sales company and as president of a Chinese sales company for three years each, delivering successful results.
After one year as a board member of a domestic sales company, he was appointed President of a European sales company in 2018, and has since been promoting strategic management covering the entire European market where Konica Minolta earns about a quarter of its total sales.
In 2019, he was appointed Executive Officer, and in this capacity, he has been working to strengthen and further improve the management of the entire Konica Minolta Group to accelerate the company’s efforts to transform into a digital company with insight into implicit challenges.
Ken Osuga

Ken Osuga joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1985, where he engaged in finance, corporate planning and business / sales planning in the business technologies field at the headquarters. Backed by 21 years’ experience in planning, sales and corporate management at sales subsidiaries in Japan and abroad, he was appointed president of an operating company in Europe in 2011 where he served for three years. He became Executive Officer in 2013 and returned to Japan in 2014 to take the post of CFO. In 2016, he assumed responsibility for global sales and service operations of the Business Technologies business and in 2017, became the Division President of the Office Business Headquarters to lead the core business of Konica Minolta. He has served as Executive Vice President, Konica Minolta Japan, Inc., a domestic sales company of Konica Minolta, since 2019. In 2020, he became President of the company.
He has 18 years’ experience of working abroad, during which he was relocated from continent to continent 11 times and visited 60 countries around the world. This cross-cultural experience enabled him to develop an understanding of diversity. During 15 years in Europe, he closed some 50 M&A deals, thus gaining extensive experience in corporate restructuring. In 2012, he began supporting start-ups in Europe. In 2009, he served as a panelist at the 15th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP15) held in Copenhagen.

Since joining Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1985, Hitoshi Kamezawa has been involved in the sensing business. After engaging in the development of pulse oximeters and agricultural measuring instruments, he held successive leadership positions responsible for the planning and development of spectrophotometers, three-dimensional object shape measuring instruments, and medical measuring instruments. In 2011, he was appointed Development Manager of the Sensing Business Unit, and played a central role in the development of sensing solutions centering on display and object color measurement to bring greater value to customers, while working to strengthen the customer-oriented R&D system.
He has been responsible for the entire sensing business of the company since 2015. He was appointed Group Executive in 2016 and Executive Officer in 2018, a post he continues to hold.
He has gained expertise in measuring technologies and measuring instrument markets through his broad range of experience in the manufacture of spectrophotometers, object shape measuring instruments, and medical measuring instruments. Leveraging this expertise, he has succeeded in the acquisition and post-merger integration (PMI) of several foreign manufacturers, and has been working in close cooperation with group companies to bring greater value to customers and improve corporate value.
Jean-Claude Cornillet

Joined Minolta France in 1986 as Director of Customer Service, Jean-Claude Cornillet then successively held the position of Director of Operations and General Manager before being promoted to Vice President of Konica Minolta Business Solutions France in 2004 at the time of the integration of the Konica and Minolta Groups.
In April 2007, he became President of the French subsidiary and in 2012 he also became head of Cluster South (Spain, France, Italy, Portugal).
In May 2016, Jean-Claude Cornillet has joined MGI Board of Directors. The Relationship opens the way to the industrial printing market.
In April 2018, he became Executive Officer of Konica Minolta Inc. at Tokyo, at the same time he is appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of Konica Minolta Europe.
From October 2018, the geographical perimeter has been extended to French speaking countries of Africa.
In June 2019, Jean-Claude Cornillet was elected President of the "Syndicat National des Entreprises de Solutions et Systèmes d'Information et d'Impression (National Trade Union of Information and Printing Solutions and Systems Companies)" (SNESSII), which assembles 12 leading manufacturers of the printing and related IT services industry.
The French subsidiary was the first in Europe to expand its activities towards IT services, especially with the acquisition of SERIANS in 2012 which became the IT Services division of Konica Minolta Business Solutions France.
In the first half of 2019, the French subsidiary became number 1 in the printing market in France for the first time in its history (INFOSOURCE).
Under his leadership, the French subsidiary became a model in terms of business development either through successful acquisitions or empowered business units.
Koji Sugie

Koji Sugie joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1987. After engaging in the Production Engineering Division for the precision and optics fields, he played a major role in promoting the integration of Konica and Minolta as a member of the Management Planning Division. After the integration in 2003, he was in charge of building a post-integration management structure and implementing group-wide management strategies.
After serving as a general manager in charge of promoting new business such as ICT services in the Business Technologies business, he assumed responsibility of corporate planning and business management of the entire Konica Minolta Group in 2014. In 2017, he was appointed Executive Officer and Division Vice President of the Professional Print Business Headquarters. In 2018, he was appointed Division President of the Professional Print Business Headquarters and in this capacity, led corporate activities to support printing companies in promoting workflow reforms and accelerate the growth of the print industry.
He became General Manager of the Quality Management Headquarters in 2020 and has since focused on quality control operations not only to ensure the safety and reliability of Konica Minolta’s products, but also to create social and customer value to meet the demands of the IoT era.
Atsuo Takemoto

Atsuo Takemoto joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1981, where he engaged in the procurement of parts for office equipment. He worked in Sao Paulo, Brazil for five years and a half then in Hong Kong for seven years.
After the integration of Konica Minolta, he held successive leadership positions responsible for procurement, and from 2012, doubled as Deputy General Manager of the Manufacturing Headquarters in the Business Technologies business. In 2015, he was appointed Executive Officer, and after doubling as Officer in charge of procurement and Deputy General Manager of the Manufacturing Headquarters, he became General Manager of the Manufacturing and Procurement Headquarters in 2019.
He is currently playing a leadership role in promoting manufacturing reforms by combining IoT technology with workforce skills at manufacturing sites under the concept of digital manufacturing, with the ultimate goal of establishing manufacturing systems that are independent of people, place, country and fluctuations.
He is also working to promote diversity in the workplace based on deep cross-cultural understanding gained through his experience in working abroad.
Hajime Takei

Hajime Takei joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1986, where he engaged in the development of medical printers and MFPs for office use. He also gained experience in developing OEM products with Japanese and foreign business partners, while serving as a project manager.
From 2014 to 2016, he served as a chairperson of the Committee on New Generation Work Style Practice Project (NeWS), which is a special project of the Japan Business Machine and Information System Industries Association (JBMIA). Under his leadership, the committee members developed a scenario of how Japanese workstyles would change in the next 10 years focusing on “improving productivity,” “promoting diversity” and “creating innovation,” and then put the scenario into practice themselves. They then raised problems identified through the experience and proposed approaches to solutions.
In 2016, he was appointed Executive Officer and General Manager of the R&D Headquarters, Business Technologies, and contributed to building open partnerships with various businesses and universities, both Japanese and foreign, as a leader in the development of MFPs and industrial printers, and related services. In 2020, he became Senior Executive Officer and has since been leading the Digital Workplace Business Headquarters, combining the proven prowess of Konica Minolta in the field of MFPs and other office equipment with the Workplace Hub business platform that offers IT services and various new solutions to customers.
Richard K. Taylor

Taylor is responsible for the company's operations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, leading more than 8,000 employees. He oversees all aspects of the company's strategy, including the day-to-day coordination and operation of all corporate business sales and service strategies as well as marketing, administration, finance, legal and training. Taylor is also the first non-Japanese executive officer appointed at Konica Minolta, Inc. His leadership is an integral part of the company's strategies and global growth policy.
Taylor has a vast amount of industry experience in creating new revenue streams while maintaining a cohesive and productive sales strategy for business partners. In 2008, Taylor joined Konica Minolta from Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. where he served as the company's President and Chief Executive Officer.
Taylor has been named "Executive of the Year" 11 times in the annual survey of more than 300 independent office equipment dealers, conducted by Marketing Research Consultants. He is also the recipient of the 2016 Spirit of Giving Award from Friends of Golf, the Humanitarian of the Year Award from the Mahwah (N.J.) In 2013, he was appointed Group Executive, and led the entire healthcare business of the company, offering X-ray diagnostic imaging systems, diagnostic ultrasound systems and medical IT services. He has been Executive Officer since 2018.
Currently, he is playing a leadership role in enhancing the diagnostic accuracy and efficiency of medical services and offering new values to meet the demands of society in the healthcare field, such as regional medical collaboration and remote medical care, by leveraging his expertise and experience gained from working with medical professionals for many years.
Yoshihiko Hirota

Yoshihiko Hirota joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1985, and engaged in the development of image processing technologies and the design of ASICs in the early days of digital color MFPs and then took charge of the development of system software as a project leader.
After the integration of Konica and Minolta, he remained in charge of system development in the Business Technologies business. He was appointed Deputy General Manager of R&D Headquarters, Business Technologies in 2013, in which capacity he was responsible for a large-scale system control software development project, leveraging his expertise in image processing technologies.
In 2019, he was appointed Executive Officer and has since been playing a leading role in R&D of IoT technology for new business based on the Workplace Hub, a new service that integrates high-performance servers and IT services into the MFP business.
Since 2020, he has doubled as General Manager of the R&D Headquarters, Business Technologies, and in this capacity, he is leading Konica Minolta’s digital innovation initiative focusing on the new edge IoT platform business, with his outstanding ability in the management of software development.
Tetsuya Matsueda

Tetsuya Matsueda joined Konishiroku Photo Industry Co., Ltd., which later became Konica Corporation, in 1985, where he took charge of negotiations for technology related agreements, such as patent licensing and R&D agreements and the development of patent strategies, with which he started his long career in intellectual property. He moved to the U.S. in 2005 to study at the law school of Northwestern University, and gained his license as a lawyer in New York State in 2007.
After returning to Japan, he was responsible for dealing with lawsuits over the company’s intellectual property and other external affairs as General Manager of Licensing Division of Intellectual Property Department. Starting from 2013, he played a leadership role in general legal affairs related to general transactions in addition to intellectual property, while engaging in supervision of general affairs at all domestic business bases of the company. He was appointed General Manager of Legal Division in 2016 and Executive Officer in 2017, posts that he continues to hold.
With expertise and experience in corporate legal affairs gained in Japan and abroad, he is currently working to establish, promote and supervise the worldwide compliance and crisis management system to strengthen the compliance, legal governance and crisis management of the Konica Minolta Group. He is also leading the Konica Minolta Group in the strategic development and utilization of intellectual property, leveraging his knowledge acquired through many years of relevant experience.
Toshitaka Uemura

Toshitaka Uemura joined Konishiroku Photo Industry Co., Ltd., which later became Konica Corporation, in 1986, where he was engaged in overseas sales of photosensitive materials for printing. He subsequently gained experience in the commercial printing business, working in Europe for 11 years and in the U.S. for six years in total.
He was involved in the digitalization of commercial printing industry from 2004 and contributed to the launch of production printers (toner-based digital printers for professional use) in the U.S. mid production printer (MPP) market, and to the establishment of a dominant position in the market in 2010.
He became General Manager of Professional Print Business Headquarters in 2015 and led the company’s professional print business, where he started the industrial print business of offering digital printing solutions for emerging markets, such as the label and packaging printing market. He has been Executive Officer and Division President of the Professional Print Business Headquarters since 2020.
Currently, he is exerting his leadership in aiming at revitalizing the printing industry through digital transformation, in addition to proposing attractive printed materials and packages that make the most of the benefits of digital printing and that have the high marketing effectiveness.
Kazuhiro Kobayashi

In 2014, he was appointed president of a domestic healthcare sales company, and in 2016, became General Manager of Healthcare Company, Konica Minolta Japan, Inc., a newly established domestic sales company offering X-ray diagnostic imaging systems, diagnostic ultrasound systems and medical IT services. In 2019, he was also appointed Group Executive of Konica Minolta, Inc.
In 2020, he left the sales company to serve as Executive Officer of Konica Minolta, Inc. With many years of experience and a wealth of knowledge in the healthcare business, he is currently playing a leading role in offering new values to meet the healthcare needs of society, such as for higher-level diagnostic services and higher-efficiency healthcare operations, as well as regional medical networks and remote medical services.
