Konica Minolta Business Technologies Unveils a New Product Brand “bizhub”

Konica Minolta Business Technologies, Inc. (president: Yoshikatu Ota) proudly announces a new product brand for office equipment, “bizhub” which symbolizes “New KONICA MINOLTA.” This new brand will be used for MFP (multi-function peripherals)* to be launched from April 2004 onward.

This compound word is a combination of “biz,” an abbreviation for business, and “hub.”
“hub” is a familiar word used in computer and networking world,
which means center of places, core of activities, and/or relay station for networking.

“bizhub” brand provides the following values to customers pursuing business efficiency and renovation:
