Konica Minolta Holdings Inc. has been ranked in the SAM Silver Class of the CSR rating for the second consecutive year by SAM Group Holding AG, the internationally leading SRI assessment company.
Every year SAM assesses approximately 2,500 companies throughout the world on corporate sustainability with respect to the economy, society, and the environment; and places the most outstanding companies into gold, silver and bronze classifications.
According to an announcement in February 2011, 103 companies were classified as gold, 92 as silver and 77 as bronze.

The award was given in recognition of Konica Minolta’s environmental activities such as providing energy-saving products, promoting zero-waste activities, and recycling toner cartridges.
