We are a new company formed on January 4, 2005, which has been split from Konica Minolta Group's research and development company for cutting edge technologies and core technologies -- Konica Minolta Technology Center, Inc.

Our mission is providing customers with a wide range of inkjet related solutions by supplying state-of-the art printheads, printer systems, inks and various services. We expect our business to grow to over $100 million by 2008.

Konica Minolta has nurtured the inkjet related business as one of the most promising fields. The high-speed, high-precision inkjet printer market, which started out with a large-format printer, is quickly expanding its application fields to various industrial uses such as display advertising. With such a dynamic market environment, Konica Minolta decided to spin off and expand the print head and textile print businesses to establish an independent company.

This is the first company spin-off from Konica Minolta group since the merger of Konica with Minolta and reflects the healthy growth of the wide format, textiles and industrial digital printing markets. The new company will benefit both from the strength of the Konica Minolta holding company as well as from its business independence within the group.
