  • Various minor bugs

Changes from Ver. 1.10.0002 to Ver. 1.20

Specification changes:

  • Addition of average measurement function.
  • Addition of continuous measurement function.
  • Addition of delayed-measurement function.
  • Addition of scotopic lux, S/P ratio, and spectral irradiance value display modes.
  • Display mode can be changed using up/down keys for improved operation.
  • Some corrections or modifications of terms used in instrument display.

Bug fixes:

The following bugs have been fixed:

  • Various minor bugs

Changes in Ver. 1.10.0002

Specification changes:

  • The algorithm for calculating correlated color temperature was changed from Konica Minolta's original algorithm to the equations defined in JIS Z 8725: "Methods for determining distribution temperature and color temperature or correlated color temperature of light sources".
  • The measurement range for correlated color temperature has been expanded.
Note:

If you are using the CL-500A together with Data Management Software CL-S10w or the Software Development Kit CL-SDK, please be sure to also update those software to the latest versions in order to take full advantage of these specification changes, As shown in the table below, even if the CL-500A firmware has been updated, if CL-S10w or CL-SDK has not been updated it will not be possible to use the new calculation method and expanded measurement range. However, all instrument functions such as measurement, etc. will still function properly as before.

  • The CL-500A firmware version can be checked by pressing Enter/MENU, selecting "System", and then selecting "Info(SerNo/Ver)".
  • When updating CL-S10w, please uninstall the previous version before installing the new version. For details on uninstallation and installation procedures, please refer to the CL-S10w Installation Guide.
