Bug fixes:

  • Various minor bugs have been fixed.

Changes from Ver. 1.42 to Ver. 1.43

Product specifications:

The following improvement has been made:

  • Improved color patch discrimination during scan measurements

Changes from Ver. 1.41 to Ver. 1.42

Product specifications:

The following improvement has been made:

  • Improved color patch discrimination during scan measurements

Changes from Ver. 1.40 to Ver. 1.41

Bug fixes:

The following bug has been fixed:

  • In some cases, the Service Calibration Warning (the message "Time for periodic cal. Contact Service Center.") appeared when the instrument was switched on for the first time after purchasing even though the calibration was still within the calibration period.

Changes from Ver. 1.30 to Ver. 1.40

Bug fixes:

The following bug has been fixed:

  • Measurement speed when used with PC software has been improved. (Click here to go to the Data Management Software FD-S1w download page.)

Changes from Ver. 1.20 to Ver. 1.30

Product specifications:

  • The Service Calibration Warning (annual service recalibration recommendation) can be set to on or off.
  • Company name has been changed from Konica Minolta Optics, Inc. to Konica Minolta, Inc.

Bug fixes:

The following bugs have been fixed:

  • Problem with white calibration error that occurred when using the instrument with XY Automatic Color-Measurement Stage ColorScoutA3+. (This problem occurred only in firmware Ver. 1.20.)
  • Other minor bugs

Changes from Ver. 1.10.0002 to Ver. 1.20

Product specifications:

Addition of the following measurement functions

  • Measurements using a polarization filter
  • Trapping measurements
  • Spot color density measurements
  • Measurements of dot area and dot gain on PS plates
  • Midtone spread measurements
  • Gray balance measurements (G7® specification)
  • Easier-to-use functions for comparing densities or colorimetric values
  • ISO Check function for evaluating conformance to ISO 12467-2 standard values
  • Target Match function to determine density difference between sample and target color and estimate required density adjustment to bring sample closer to target color.

The following improvements have been made:

  • Improved color patch discrimination during scan measurements
  • Display of low-battery warning at time instrument is switched on if voltage of internal battery is low. (No message will be displayed if battery is completely exhausted.)

Bug fixes:

The following bugs have been fixed:

  • Mistaken selection of target color with different ink type when auto target function was used for density measurements
  • Other minor bugs.

Changes from Ver. 1.00 to Ver. 1.10.0002

Bug fixes:

The following bugs have been fixed:

  • Measurement of certain rare colors could not be performed ("---" was displayed). The colors that could not be measured were high-chromaticity colors (green, yellow, etc.) for which color management is not commonly performed.
  • A white calibration error occurred in rare cases.
  • Charging of the instrument battery was not performed in some cases if the instrument power was switched off.
