Preparations for use
System requirements for the latest version of Software Development Kit CL-SDK are listed after Preparations for use.
The CL-SDK can be used by just copying the files and folder structure from the downloaded .zip file to a folder on
your computer. There is no need to run an installation program.
In the same way, removing the CL-SDK from your computer can be performed by simply deleting the folder containing the CL-SDK files.
- Save the download file (clsdk_win130_all.zip) to a folder on your computer.
- Extract the files in the .zip file to a folder on your computer, maintaining the folder structure of the .zip
For information on using the CL-SDK to write your own software, please refer to the pdf of the CL-SDK Reference Manual included in the Manual subfolder of the extracted files.

Note: If a USB1.1 or USB3.0 compliant USB port is used, performance of CL-500A cannot be assured. If a USB hub is used, the hub should be a self-powered type with a guaranteed 500mA output per port.
- The hardware of the computer system to be used must meet or exceed the recommended system requirements for the compatible OS version and development language being used.
