Optical Components for Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment
We provide high-performance optics for semiconductor manufacturing equipment by leveraging ultra-high-precision processing and advanced assembly technologies. To further improve surface precision, we introduced non-contact polishing technology, enabling us to precisely meet the diverse needs of our customers.
Lens Units for Projectors

Component Products
Plastic Lenses
We have established an integrated production system with microfabrication and molding technologies that realize ultra-precision molds, as well as an advanced quality evaluation system. These are backed up by our world-leading track record in optical disc pickup lenses.
Glass Lenses
We have a long track record of production in both polishing and glass molding. In the polished lens business, we have produced a large volume of general-purpose lenses and ultra-high-precision polished lenses, such as lenses for steppers. In the mold business, we provide a wide variety of products, including high-NA (numerical aperture) lenses, square lenses, and lens arrays, through our precision molding and unique molding technologies.
Prisms
In addition to glass prisms, for which we have a proven track record, Konica Minolta develops and manufactures plastic prisms that can be freely shaped and lightweight.
Far-Infrared Lenses
We　provide high-precision aspheric lenses for far-infrared wavelengths by selecting the appropriate material, either chalcogenide glass or far-infrared resin, according to the applications and specifications.
