Installing the software

System requirements for the latest version of SpectraMagic CMS are listed after the Installation procedure.

If you are using a previous version of SpectraMagic CMS, please uninstall the old SpectraMagic CMS before installing the new one. (See installation Guide for more details.)

Installation procedure

1. Save the download file (for example, smcms_verxxx_all.zip, where xxx is the software version number) to a folder on your computer.
2. Extract the files in the downloaded zip file to a folder on your computer.
3. Open the Installation Guide (smcms_install_multi.pdf) in the files extracted in step 2.
4. Follow the procedure described in the Installation Guide for installing SpectraMagic CMS.

For information on using the software, refer to the Instruction Manual which will be installed in the same folder as the software and can be accessed from the Start menu. (Start : KONICAMINOLTA : SpectraMagic CMS : SpectraMagic CMS Manual).

Operating System	Windows® 11 Pro Note: The hardware of the computer system must meet or exceed the greater of the recommended system requirements for the compatible OS being used or the following specifications.
CPU	Intel® Core i5 2.7GHz or higher processor (recommended)
Memory	8 GB or more (16GB or more recommended)
Hard disk drive	20GB or more
Other	SB port: Required for dongle version Connection to external network: Required for activation Database: PostgreSQL 15 or later. For PostgreSQL system requirements, refer to the official PostgreSQL website.

*¹: Only instruments with the latest firmware versions are supported. Older firmware versions may not be supported
