U.S. Books2BETTER programUsing Books to Create the Next Generation of Leaders and Thinkers

Studies show that a child's exposure to books in their early childhood years is essential to the development of their literacy skills and is proven to be a strong predictor of their future academic success. That is why Konica Minolta, as a technology and solutions company, is committed to supporting childhood education and promoting literacy among underprivileged children to shape our world's next generation of leaders and thinkers.

To help us achieve these goals, we created our annual Books2BETTER initiative in the United States. This initiative encouraged Konica Minolta members at offices across the United States to organize local book drives to support underprivileged young readers in their community by collecting new books for preschool and kindergarten aged children from low-income families.

Books2BETTER takes place annually each spring and since its introduction two years ago, Konica Minolta has donated thousands of books to young readers. We will continue to expand our efforts each year to address this important issue.
