Masatoshi Matsuzaki has been Chairman of the Board of KONICA MINOLTA, INC. since April 2014. He joined Konishiroku Photo Industry Co., Ltd. in 1976 and engaged mainly in product development and planning of printers and MFP’s. After the integration of Konica and Minolta in 2003, he held several leadership executive positions responsible for R&D and technology strategy. He served as President and CEO of KONICA MINOLTA INC. from April 2009 to March 2014.
He is also Outside Director of public companies in Japan, such as Ichigo Inc. and LIXIL Corporation, and is also Vice Chairman of the Japan Association of Corporate Directors.
He has also been invited to give many lectures on corporate management, technology management, leadership, and corporate governance.
Shoei Yamana

Shoei Yamana joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1977. After working on the development of markets in emerging countries, international sales while staying in the U.K., and company-wide management planning, he served as CEO of an American printer company acquired by Minolta. Upon returning to Japan, he was appointed Executive Officer, Minolta Co., Ltd., and doubled as General Manager, Management Planning Division, and Deputy General Manager, Business Technologies Business Headquarters. He played an important role in the integration of Konica and Minolta.
After the integration, he served as Senior Executive Officer and led the sales headquarters of Business Technologies. He was appointed Director and Senior Executive Officer in charge of corporate strategy in 2006, became responsible for Business Technologies in 2011, Director and Senior Vice president and Executive Officer for that business in 2013, and President and CEO, Representative Executive Officer in 2014.
Demonstrating strong leadership, he has been striving to transform Konica Minolta into a digital company with insight into implicit challenges, a company that anticipates latent issues of customers and helps solve them together with customers, thus contributing to the business community and society at large.
He was appointed Executive Chairman and Executive Officer in April 2022.
Yamana is a much sought-after speaker for lectures on digital business.
Masumi Minegishi
Director, Konica Minolta, Inc.
Toyotsugu Itoh joined Konishiroku Photo Industry Co., Ltd., which later became Konica Corporation, in 1979, where he was involved in the development of photographic film production technologies and R&D of key device production technologies.
After the integration of Konica and Minolta in 2003, he was involved in establishing a production subsidiary in China and managing a production subsidiary of the Konica Minolta Group. After taking up various managerial positions, including General Manager of the Monodzukuri Engineering Center (Manufacturing Technology Center), in 2013, he was promoted to Executive Officer and General Manager, Corporate Production Operations, where he was in charge of strengthening production technologies company-wide and promoting production strategies. He was appointed Senior Executive Officer in 2015, and Senior Executive Officer Responsible for Management Quality Improvement in 2017, where he was tasked with carrying out management quality reforms and other measures to improve internal control. In 2018 he became Director of Konica Minolta, Inc. and has since been responsible for supervising corporate management.
He has authored several books, including Cho-seimitsukako no Essence (Essence of Ultra-high-Precision Technologies) and Jissai no Sekkei (Actual Design) (co-author). He is also an active member of an external network of study groups.
Hiroyuki Suzuki

Hiroyuki Suzuki joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., in 1979 which later became Minolta Co., Ltd. After gaining experience in personnel management as well as management of group companies, he was involved in the management of a new business at a subsidiary as a director.
After the integration of Konica and Minolta in 2003, he played a leading role in building an MFP direct-sales system and promoting MFP sales in China. Starting from 2006, he supported auditing activities as the audit committee secretariat. In 2009, he was appointed General Manager, Corporate Audit Division, where he has been responsible for internal auditing for 10 years. In 2012, he became Executive Officer, and in June 2019, took up the post of Director upon resigning as Executive Officer. He has since been in charge of supervising corporate management as an Internal Director, not doubling as Executive Officer.
Especially, as a member of the audit committee he has been responsible for auditing how the internal control system is built and used in the company and how Executive Officers are fulfilling their managerial duties, leveraging the expertise in corporate governance and internal control gained from his experience in management and auditing activities.
Seiji Hatano

Seiji Hatano joined The Mitsubishi Bank, Ltd., which later became MUFG Bank, Ltd., in 1982, where he gained experience in general global corporate financing services for major companies, including general trading companies, heavy industry companies, automobile manufacturers, electronics manufacturers, and sea and land transportation companies, while engaging in M&A, project financing, and treasury management.
While working in New York and Singapore, he took charge of transactions with Japanese companies and major local companies and international business management, and, while responsible for examining companies, he was involved in several large-scale corporate restructuring projects.
After joining Konica Minolta in 2011, he took charge of the company’s growth strategy. He was appointed Executive Officer and General Manager, Corporate Strategy Division in 2013, Director and Senior Executive Officer in 2014. Since then, he was in charge of corporate strategy, CSR, public relations, and brand promotion, and continues overseeing risk management, accounting and financing operations.
Since 2022, he has assisted the CEO as Senior Executive Vice President and Executive Officer and has been responsible for accounting, finance, and risk management.
Leveraging the human network built while engaging in banking services and transactions with major companies, he has been assisting Konica Minolta in transforming its business model and helping the company maintain sustainable growth and enhance its corporate value on a medium- to long-term basis.
Toshimitsu Taiko

Toshimitsu Taiko joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1986. Having worked in his earlier career at legal affairs in Japan and the U.S., and for sales of printers, he took charge of marketing and business planning at a printer sales company.
Since the integration of Konica and Minolta, he has served as an officer responsible for strategic business planning for business technologies, and as CEO of a sales company in the U.S. He was appointed Executive Officer in 2015, and returned to Japan in 2016. After holding managerial positions including General Manager, Business Planning Headquarters, and General Manager, Professional Printing Business Headquarters for Business Technologies, he was also appointed Director in 2018. Leveraging his 14 years of experience working abroad, mainly in the U.S. and Europe, and the ability to think rationally gained from such experience, he has strived to deliver new value to customers in the company’s mainstream business operations - office business and production printing business – while introducing digital technologies in his capacity as a lead officer responsible for business technologies.
He was appointed Senior Vice President and Executive Officer in 2020, responsible for corporate planning, investor relations and corporate communication, in addition to business technologies. In this way, he also gained experience in the Konica Minolta Croup's management strategy and stakeholder communication.
He was appointed President and CEO, Representative Executive Officer in April 2022.

Masafumi Uchida joined Konishiroku Photo Industry Co., Ltd., which later became Konica Corporation, in 1983. After engaging in R&D of toner for copiers, he was transferred to the toner manufacturer, Konica Supplies Manufacturing, Co., Ltd., present-day Konica Minolta Supplies Manufacturing Co., Ltd., where he gained practical experience.
After the integration of Konica and Minolta, he served as General Manager, Production Technology Headquarters; Deputy Senior General Manager, Manufacturing Headquarters; General Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility Division. He was appointed Executive Officer and General Manager, Corporate Environmental and Quality Management Division in 2016 and promoted management focusing on SDGs.
He became Senior Executive Officer in 2018. Since 2019, as Chief Technical Officer, he is striving to create digital innovations and to internationalize the company’s R&D activities.

Fujii leads Konica Minolta’s precision medicine business. After joining Konica Minolta in 2016 Fujii led the acquisitions of two major U.S. biotechnology companies, Ambry Genetics and Invicro.
Fujii has a wide-ranging business career from medical services, information technology, consumer products to investment banking. Fujii has held Japan CEO positions with top global companies since 1997, including SAP, Louis Vuitton, Cadence Design Systems and Quintiles Transnational. From 2012 to 2015 he served Olympus as the first independent board member to re-build its governance and businesses.
From 1985 to 1993 Fujii held the role as the first Japanese M&A investment banker in New York with Credit Suisse First Boston and Goldman Sachs. Fujii started out his career with McKinsey as the first hire from the University of Tokyo.
Fujii received an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1986 and a B.A. in Law from the University of Tokyo in 1981.

Shinichiro Oka started his professional career at Toshiba Corporation in 1991. He was in charge of human resources at the plants and headquarters of the Medical Equipment and Home Appliance Business Divisions. He then served as human resources director at United Technologies, IBM Corporation, and Coca-Cola (Japan) Co., Ltd. in a number of critical positions, including head of Asia-Pacific regional human resources management, JV realignment project leader and global executive development leader.
Prior to joining Konica Minolta, as Executive Officer and Global CHRO of Macromill, Inc., he introduced new HR programs and policies to support the sustainable growth of its marketing research business at the global market. Focusing on acquisition and development of talents with strong leadership capability, he successfully led the company’s re-listing on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2017.
Oka joined Konica Minolta in June 2020 as Executive Officer. Responsible for human resources, he has been working to acquire and develop global talents who will drive Konica Minolta's business model transformation, while leading its organizational transformation initiatives with his hands-on involvement inside the businesses.

Noriyasu Kuzuhara joined Konica Corporation in 1990, where he was involved in new business development projects, such as the development of cancer diagnostic agents utilizing immune response and electrolyzed water sanitizing systems. He then engaged in the development of LCD films, another new business. In 2003, he succeeded in developing the world’s first TAC retardation film for VA-LCDs (VA-TAC), which greatly helped the company expand in this field, and in recognition of this achievement, he was awarded the Excellence Prize in the 3rd Monozukuri Nippon Grand Award in 2009.
He was appointed General Manager, R&D Department, Performance Materials Headquarters, in 2009, General Manager, Performance Materials Business Unit, Advanced Layers Company in 2014, Executive Officer in 2015, and Senior Executive Officer in 2016.
Since 2017, he has served as Division President, Material & Component Business Headquarters and since 2018, doubled as General Manager, Corporate R&D Headquarters.
Since 2022, he has been in charge of corporate planning, leading the formulation of the Konica Minolta Group's management strategy, and continues to be responsible for Materials & Components Business.
Yuji Ichimura

Yuji Ichimura joined Konica Minolta in 2012 after engaging in sales, planning, business development and start-up investment at a major global IT company, and focused on M&A and business process transformation to reinforce IT service operations and supervise new business development company-wide.
He was appointed Executive Officer in 2015 and Senior Executive Officer in 2018. Utilizing digital technology and extensive data, he is currently responsible for the supervision and management of digital transformation processes under way in the Konica Minolta Group globally, aiming to reform business processes, improve efficiency, and change work-styles.
He has been invited to many external events as a speaker of “Innovation Management at the Enterprise Company.”

Toshiya Eguchi joined Konica Corporation in 1989, where he engaged in the development of system LSIs for photo printing equipment and office equipment such as facsimiles and printers, and the system design of digital cameras and medical equipment.
After the integration of Konica and Minolta, in 2010 he was appointed Senior Manager of the Architecture Development Division of the System Solution Technology R&D Laboratories, responsible for developing the system architecture of digital MFPs, and then General Manager of the System Technology Development Center in charge of technical development for new business areas. He has been Executive Officer and General Manager of IoT Service Platform Development Operations since 2017.
He is currently leading the corporate strategy to create Konica Minolta-style IoT business, leveraging its R&D assets that combines system development of cloud and edge devices and AI technologies such as image recognition, deep learning and data analytics.
To facilitate the transformation of Konica Minolta into a digital company, he has long been playing a leadership role in developing innovative human resources and ICT engineers within the company, thereby contributing largely to nurturing ICT specialists through the in-house training program focused on selected members.

Hajime Takei joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., which later became Minolta Co., Ltd., in 1986, where he engaged in the development of medical printers and MFPs for office use. He also gained experience in developing OEM products with Japanese and foreign business partners, while serving as a project manager.
From 2014 to 2016, he served as a chairperson of the Committee on New Generation Work Style Practice Project (NeWS), which is a special project of the Japan Business Machine and Information System Industries Association (JBMIA). Under his leadership, the committee members developed a scenario of how Japanese workstyles would change in the next 10 years focusing on “improving productivity,” “promoting diversity” and “creating innovation,” and then put the scenario into practice themselves. They then raised problems identified through the experience and proposed approaches to solutions.
In 2016, he was appointed Executive Officer and General Manager of the R&D Headquarters, Business Technologies, and contributed to building open partnerships with various businesses and universities, both Japanese and foreign, as a leader in the development of MFPs and industrial printers, and related services. In 2020, he became Senior Executive Officer and has since been leading the Digital Workplace Business Headquarters, combining the proven prowess of Konica Minolta in the field of MFPs and other office equipment with the Workplace Hub business platform that offers IT services and various new solutions to customers.
