No, the players are all kids!
It’s the Konica Minolta European Youth Soccer Tournament’s Cup, gathering 250 teams in Albertslund,, Denmark to compete during a spring weekend. The Konica Minolta Cup is mainly for Danish youngsters, but also teams from Germany, The Netherlands and Great Britain participated.

The event is run by Konica Minolta volunteers, and the number of participating teams has been increasing every year. It’s a great experience for the kids, who train hard and form friendships across borders through the universal language of the sport.

One team’s coach from England sent a letter saying that the tournament exceeded their expectations and all 33 people that attended and competed wanted to return for another chance at the Konica Minolta Cup!

Through the universal language of sport, Konica Minolta is continuing to provide educational experiences for our young, future generation.
