Konica Minolta Included in FTSE4Good Index for Thirteenth Consecutive Year

Konica Minolta, Inc. (Konica Minolta) is pleased to announce that the company has been included in the FTSE4Good Index by FTSE Russell, one of the best known indices in the world for socially responsible investment (SRI) communities. This is the thirteenth year in a row that Konica Minolta earned the recognition.

FTSE Russell confirms that Konica Minolta has been independently assessed according to the FTSE4Good criteria, and has satisfied the requirements to become a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series. Created by the global index company FTSE Russell, FTSE4Good is an equity index series that is designed to facilitate investment in companies that meet globally recognized corporate responsibility standards. Companies in the FTSE4Good Index Series have met stringent environmental, social and governance criteria, and are positioned to capitalize on the benefits of responsible business practice.

In the most recent evaluation, Konica Minolta received the highest possible score in the Pollution & Resources aspects, as well as high marks in the Climate Change aspects, Water Use aspects, Environmental Supply Chain aspects, Labor Standards aspects, Social Supply Chain aspects, Corporate Governance aspects.

On the environmental front, Konica Minolta has launched and executed the new medium-term environmental plan based on the concept of both solving environmental challenges and strengthening the company’s competitive advantages.
