Smile FoundationBringing Cheer to Children in India

On October 29, 2013, Konica Minolta teamed up with SMILE Foundation, an Indian development agency committed to the holistic development of underprivileged children, youth and adults, to support the education of 100 such children through the Mission Education program, a national level program which provides basic education and healthcare to children who need it most.

Volunteers from Konica Minolta visited the Dhaula Kuan-based Education Center for SMILE's Health & Care Society camp, where they discussed the education and healthcare facilities provided by SMILE Foundation to the children. Konica Minolta volunteers spent the entire day with the children and participated in various enjoyable activities ranging from making Rangoli and Diwali cards to quizzes offering prizes. The day proved to be an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

This memorable CSR engagement has inspired a heartfelt commitment in Konica Minolta members to share even more of their time to bring smiles to the faces of underprivileged children wherever they may be, and to give them confidence to face the world with a feeling of equality and opportunity.
