Konica Minolta not only complies with minimum wage laws in the countries and regions where it operates but also strives to ensure appropriate wage levels that enable employees to work with motivation.

Establishing an Appropriate Working Environment

Konica Minolta aims to create a workplace environment where employees can work with vitality and peace of mind, focusing on the following three areas:

Prevention of Overwork

To prevent overwork, Konica Minolta ensures appropriate management of working hours. Employees who exceed a specified level of overtime work are provided with medical examinations conducted by occupational physicians. The Company also strives to create a work environment that supports work-life balance.

Ensuring Occupational Safety and Health

Konica Minolta engages in activities to improve workplace safety, implements rigorous occupational health measures, and places emphasis on education to prevent occupational accidents.

Prevention of Harassment

Konica Minolta has established a clear policy on harassment prevention and provides education on the subject. It has also established and operates a system and consultation process to take prompt and appropriate action in the event of harassment.

In addition, to prevent harassment during recruitment, the Company has established the following Recruitment Guidelines and consultation desk and provides thorough briefings to internal recruiters to ensure compliance.

Building Constructive Labor-Management Relations

Konica Minolta respects employees’ freedom of association and right to collective bargaining and strives to build constructive labor-management relations. Konica Minolta, Inc. has concluded a collective agreement with its labor union and holds management council meetings four times a year, attended by the president, to share information on business conditions and engage in discussions with the labor union. Other Konica Minolta Group companies in Japan also have labor unions or employee associations representing their workers and strive to enhance job satisfaction and create a more supportive work environment by incorporating employee feedback into management.
